The Pharmaceutical Sciences Department offers analytical testing and research services in support of the development, approval, and manufacture of pharmaceutical and cosmetic raw materials and finished products. An outline of our testing and research specialties are described below:

Scope of Technical Capabilities

Southern Testing is well-equipped to meet the needs of a diverse range of testing and research services. Our technical capabilities include the following instrumentation,equipment, and analytical methodologies:

• Chromatography - TLC, GC, HPLC, GC/MS, IC, GPC, Headspace Analyzer
• Spectroscopy - FTIR, UV/visible, Atomic Absorption, Atomic Emission (ICP), spectrofluorimetry
• Titrimetry, including Karl Fischer for water content
• Disintegration/Dissolution (including extended release)
• Polarimetry
• Carbon analyzer (TOC)
• Stability Studies by ICH Guidelines
